Medicines series and is most commonly used as a homeopathic remedy for painful
and hoarse dry cough worsened by cold weather. This is the 75 pellet and 200C
potency version of Hepar sulphuris calcareum by Boiron, which contains Hepar
sulphuris calcareum 200C aka 200CK aka 200C Md HPUS as its main ingredient.
HPUS means that these ingredients are officially included in the Homeopathic
Pharmacopoeia of the United States. The potency of 200C means that Boiron first
took the fully concentrated and undiluted version of Hepar sulphuris calcareum
and diluted it 100 times (100 is represented by the Roman Numeral C). The
resulting solution (Hepar sulphuris calcareum of 1C potency) was then diluted
10 more times, creating a 2C potency Hepar sulphuris calcareum. Then the 2C
potency Boiron Hepar sulphuris calcareum was diluted another 10 times for the
third time, resulting in this Boiron Hepar sulphuris calcareum 3C potency
dilution. This was done a total of 200 times, the end result being this 200 C
aka 200 CK aka 200 C Md potency dilution. Other ingredients in Boiron Hepar
sulphuris calcareum 200C aka 200CK aka 200C Md potency (75 pellets) - Single
Medicines include sucrose and lactose. Boiron's Hepar sulphuris calcareum is
also known as Crude calcium sulfide.
How to use
Adults and children: Dissolve 5 pellets in the mouth 3 times a day until relieved or
as directed by a doctor.
